Healing After Sexual Sin
There are tons of rules, directions and sins mentioned in the Bible but special attention is given to sexual sin. 1 Corinthians 6:18 explains that when someone sins sexually it is a sin against their body. The reason sexual sin is different from murder, stealing, or lying is because it effects you physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Unequally Yoked?? – dating
What the heck is it to be unequally yoked? and why does the paster throw that around whenever you talk about dating?

Boy Asks Girl – marriage
The boy and the girl we have been following have been together for sereveral years. They have had their good times and they have had their bad ones but the are still together.
Many people ask when do you know the person is right, how do you know it is time to get married.
Boy Hurts Girl
The Boy and the Girl dated for years and even went to church. Their relationship was growing and they thought they had a good thing going.
The boy had a secret. This secret had not yet surfaced and the girl had no idea what to expect. The boy had an addiction, to women and images that society makes sound so normal. This addiction to pornography started to blur the lines between reality and fantasy and reared its ugly head in their relationship. The problem came to a head and the girl found out. She was shocked, devastated and hurt.
Boy dates Girl – Dating
In the last blog Boy meets Girl the boy caught the girls attention. The story did end there. The boy and the girl began dating.
When the boy won the girls heart she was 14 and 15. They both loved Jesus and knew that their dating relationship must be kept pure. Things like sex and fooling around would be a long way in the future. They know there would be many years before they could get married and these things would be allowed.
Boy meets Girl – Dating
There once was a boy who had a thing for a girl but she was a Christian. No boy who didn’t love Jesus and follow his ways would win this girls heart.
As time went by a friendship grew but nothing romantic could come. The bible tells of being unequally yoked and how Jesus does not want this.
Dear You, Love Me
Shall I admit something? A lot of the time, I’m not patient. I don’t want to wait for God to bring the right guy into my life, the one I’ll fall in love with and get married. And I’m sure I’m not the only one.
It’s hard. It’s hard to be patient. It’s hard to trust. Which, yes, is really stupid, because God has come through in all other areas of my life, and I have no reason to believe He won’t in this instance.
But for something practical, I journal to the guy I’m going to marry, as my wedding gift to him. I don’t know him (well, I don’t think I do. Maybe I do.), but writing to him makes him real. It makes him seem much more tangible, rather than a shadowy figure somewhere far in the future.
It’s kind of dorky, I’ll admit that. But I really hope whoever I marry does the same thing. It allows him to get inside my head and know me better, throughout my life.
Maybe you’re trying to wait too, and I hope this helps you. I always start my journal off with “Dear You” (because I don’t know his name, obviously) and end it with “Love, Me.” And that simple act of telling him what I did that day reminds me that God is faithful, and my job is to be patient.
Being Single and (Not) Ready to Mingle
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl, a princess. She had a beautiful home, and her Father loved her more than she could ever comprehend. In fact, she had such a microscopic idea of how much her Father loved her, she thought that He was trying to keep her from experiencing all the fun stuff, the stuff all the other princes and princesses were doing. She was jealous of the others, and she wanted to be able to have fun just like them.
So one day, More…
Purity? Or just another word we throw around
When you go into schools all across the U.S. you would think that the kids are there for an education; to learn, get challenged, and to reach goals they never thought were attainable. Well think again. Schools these days are full of smart comments about who had sex with who the past night or who their gonna have sex that night.
Ok… stop the train. We are in HIGH SCHOOL! Ages 13-18. We should not be thinking about these things this young of age.
