Love is More Than Words
Right now in my devotions I’m reading 1 John, in Chapter 3 it is talking about love. You must Love your brother before you can truly even Love God. That is easy right? Make sure you tell everyone in your life what they mean. Send a card with some encouraging words! Easy! Right!
Be The Good Samaratin
In Luke 10: 25-37 When Jesus is asked about loving your neighbor he tells the elaborate story of the Good Samratin. Most of you are familiar with this Story. A Jewish man is badly beaten and two people of his own race pass him by leaving him to die. The person who comes to his rescue is a samaratin. The most hated race of a Jew. He goes out of his way to help the man. It didn’t matter that it was socially inacceptable, expensive or inconvenient, it was the right thing to do.
True Meaning of ‘Love’
Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Do we Truely Know What Love is
Love is a word that is thrown around a ton. I love those taco’s, I love your hair, I love that new band.
I love my boyfriend, I love my best friend, I love my family.
The list could go on and on, but do we truely understand what Love is?
Should I Or Not?
Should I eat meat or not?
Should I attend Church on Sunday or not? What about Saturday?
Should I obstain from alchanol or no?
Should I Wear a skirt, grow my hair long or not?

Bikini’s, tight shirts, and tight pants. Sweatpants, baggy shirts, and sweatpants. When you look at these two groups of clothing, the first thing you compare is yourself and what you wear.
God’s Transitive Property
I was praying the other night, and I told God, “I want it. I want it now! I don’t want to have to wait anymore.”
Before I could whine anymore, God stopped me. I thought of 1 Corinthians 13:4-6. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it’s own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong-doing, but rejoices with the truth.”
“Yeah, yeah. I know God. It’s on my wall. It’s in my locker. It’s in a picture frame hanging beside my bed. Love waits. Love takes patience. Love isn’t mean. I like this verse; I know this verse.”
