Choose Your Friends Wisely
As a Christian we walk this delicate balance of how we spend our time. We don’t want to live in a sheltered bubble of Christianity and never share our faith with the world because God says in his word to Go and tel the gospel to all men. (Mark 16:15) But, we also need to make sure that we remain spiritually healthy. Too much time in circles where Christianity is not the norm can leave you feeling depleted, worn out and even compromising your once very firm standards. 1 Corinthians 15:33 reminds us that bad company corrupts our good manners.
What You Set Your Mind On
We have all heard it over and over in our highschool career, what you set your mind on you will achieve, the skies the limit! That is very true that what you set your mind on does determine your course of action.

Quiet Your Mind
I don’t know about you but my mind is a noisy place. I often am thinking about several things at any given time and find myself feeling more and more aprehensive as my mind plays through every scenerio possible. I saw something on facebook that confirmed to me that this was a problem. It was a picture that said a womans mind is like a search browser with 2,698 tabs open. Sadly I could relate to this. I find this to be distracting and exhausing. I find that it makes me work slower at the task at hand and loose sleep at night, I have even found it has made it hard to participate fully in a conversation with a person who is right beside me. This is not what God wants for us. He wants us to quiet your mind. Take control of your thoughts and not allow them to run wild.
Satan is the master of confusion (Ephesians 6:11) when there is confusion and chaos in a situation he is at his greatest. So don’t let your mind be a play ground for him.

Heavenward
Today our media floods us with things we need to get. New cars, clothes, houses and gagets. It tells us we must look a certain way to keep up an image, or act a certain way to be liked by people. We get exhausted and run ourselves ragged trying to earn the money to buy these things or to make your body cooperate to achieve the look.
Going Forth In Christ?
