Yes, it is true…
Yes, it is true that being homosexual is a sin, but so is stealing lying, heterosexual sex outside of marriage, and coveting your neighbors things.
Homosexuality breaks 3 of the 17 sex related sins. Now that isn’t going to bat for those sins, or saying it is any less than other sins, but if God can forgive and love other sinners than he can do the same for Homosexuals.
Jesus does not require a person to be perfect and cleaned up before they come to Him. He desires you to come to Him just as you are. It is not the Christian’s job to clean people up to bring them to Jesus. Rather bring them to Jesus and let Him clean them up.
Jesus will change the heart of a homosexual Christian in his time. He works the same way as He does with someone who is addicted to heterosexual sex, drugs or lying. As a Christians relationship grows with their savior their desire will be more like Him and He will direct their changes.
Remember Jesus has always come for the sinner not the saved. He said himself in Mark 2:17, “it is not the healthy who need the doctor but the sick, I have not come to call the righteous but the sinners”
So christian, love everyone as Jesus Loves, and let Jesus do the judging!
I am an average woman in my mid 20's who has a heart for Teens. I have worked with my churches youth group for the past 6 years and seen the struggles that Teens face every day. My heart really goes out to them as they try to find their way in a world where anything goes! I married my high school sweet heart in 2004! You will see him on this site also. That is Jimmy! We have been together since our Sophomore year and have always found our selves in some ministry together. We currently serve with our youth group, and have small bible studies in our home. We realized that we had a heart for something much bigger and wanted to reach more with the hope of Jesus Christ. In 2011 We ran into Bob who had an idea for a radio station for Teens after praying and researching what was needed tayaradio.com was born! I am excited to see where this site goes and excited to get to know the readers and help you learn more about yourself and your walk with God.
