How many movies ask this BIG question?

…. “What is the meaning of life?”……

-A lot.

However, these people were apparently not Christians, because as Christians we are blessed with the knowledge of our ultimate objective: To glorify Christ.

Turning through the pages of the bible, there are countless stories where the acts of Christians have inspired others to proclaim God as their true God!

Take the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They followed the will of their Lord until the end, and through their efforts, King Nebuchadnezzar announced their God as the true Lord.

 “²⁸Then Nebuchadnezzar said, ‘Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who believed, trusted in and relied on Him!…” -Daniel 3: 28

Or another example, the story of Ruth and Naomi, two women who faced many hardships, but kept faith in their Lord, in the end exalting His wonder.

 “¹⁴And the women said to Naomi, ‘Blessed be the Lord, Who has not left you this day without a close kinsman, and may his name be famous in Israel.’” -Ruth 4:14

Ooooooorrrrr, the story of Elijah, who followed all of God’s commands, in the end proving to the people God’s real power.

 “ ³⁸ Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. ³⁹ When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces, and they said, ‘The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!’”

-1 Kings 18:38-39

OR EVEN BETTER YET….The story of YOU!

God has a plan for your life. You have meaning beyond comprehension. Take this knowledge and know that you are blessed, because your story will glorify Him who loves you, Him who hears you, and Him who will forever care for you.
