Lord.. May I have a word?
Lord.. May I have a Word?
Daily routines are what saturate every human being into thinking that everything has to be perfect and on time. We plan out our whole day, and if something doesn’t go our way, we decide to throw a huge temper tantrum like 3 year olds do when they don’t get a cookie they demanded.
What if the world put down the planners, technology, and really looked up to the One who is making our lives happen? How many people would actually pull through without cheating or having a good attitude through it? In this life, not many people I know would have the courage, strength, or compassion to do that for our Lord. We are so caught up in this world that we can’t see what is consuming our lives.
I am not saying that I do not do that one bit. I am just as guilty as anyone else in this world is. I live on my phone and my music consumes my life even though it is christian music. The one question that haunts me is why can’t I put down my phone for 30 minutes and look into the word of God? Why do the things in my life always consume me? I could be prepping myself for the next trial or tribulation that God puts in front of me, but instead I’m “too busy” doing things that don’t matter? Am I alone or do other people have this problem too?

Hey!! I am currently a junior in High School. I go to youth group every week and I attend weekend events once or twice a year called Deco-TEC. I wish I could tell people that I am perfect and that I never struggle with anything but in all reality, I am just like everybody else in this world but the one thing that I have that a lot of high schoolers don't have is a relationship with God(: I am the most blessed girl that that was the plan to meet him sooner than most teens! So I am here to show people it doesn't matter how young you are to have a heart for God! I hope that my blogs are inspirational and would love for people to give me new ideas and topics to write about and also feedback for my other blogs to see how I can make them better<3
