Burdens
Burdens
I’m walking down this dusty road
and on my back is a heavy load
The pain and sorrow from all the years
All these things I’ve carried here
Those broken pieces of shattered lives
and other things picked up outside.
The burdens weigh on me
It’s slowing me you see
Please carry them a while
and walk with me this mile
“My way is better, I’ll take it away”
“and how will you do this” I say
Now he answers with a smiling face
“with the help of my fathers grace”
For that is why I came and died
Now I’ll always be by your side.
The burden has been lifted off me
I’m moving faster now free
He took the burden from his child
and walks with me for all the miles
When life just feels too much and the burden is too heavy God says to lay your troubles on him. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
God also tells us that if we give ourselves to him he is a Kind master unlike the master of Sin that we serve. He says Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
So stop worrying and lay down your burdens. Let Jesus carry them and take up his yoke.

I am an average woman in my mid 20's who has a heart for Teens. I have worked with my churches youth group for the past 6 years and seen the struggles that Teens face every day. My heart really goes out to them as they try to find their way in a world where anything goes! I married my high school sweet heart in 2004! You will see him on this site also. That is Jimmy! We have been together since our Sophomore year and have always found our selves in some ministry together. We currently serve with our youth group, and have small bible studies in our home. We realized that we had a heart for something much bigger and wanted to reach more with the hope of Jesus Christ. In 2011 We ran into Bob who had an idea for a radio station for Teens after praying and researching what was needed tayaradio.com was born! I am excited to see where this site goes and excited to get to know the readers and help you learn more about yourself and your walk with God.
